Tangent are looking for a someone who a Finance Manager who is fluent in French and English to work within a well established global technology firm.
This position is responsible for supporting the OPEX Controller in the following:
Ensuring the general accounting processes, performed both internally and externally (outsource provider of Back Office general accounting processing), are completed timely and accurately for the French business.General accounting processes are performed throughout the month with a spike in activity at month end and it is sometimes required to work at weekends or late evenings.
Completion of various adhoc projects to solve and fix control issues as they arise requiring good analytical and deduction skills.
Overall, the position requires good influencing skills over both internal and external colleagues within a Matrix environment.

Essential:
Fluency in French in addition to English is required for this role
Knowledge of the general accounting processes within a large business
Good ERP/Accounting system skills - ability to utilise general functionality and keen to develop ability to extract raw data as required when working on adhoc projects
Good Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables; Filters; formulas)
Ability to work under own initiative
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Demonstrates a high level of ownership and accountability
An inherent sense of curiosity and desire to implement process improvements
Studying for a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA); training and assistance given
SAP knowledge
