Description
Harvey Nash is currently seeking a Finance Supervisor to join a large public sector organisation on an initial 3 month contract in Edinburgh city centre.
The successful Finance Supevisor will be responsible for:
* Quality assurance and approval of transactions
* Preparation of annual financial accounts
. Monitoring performance and completing regular reports for management
* Make postings to the SEAS and post journals.
About you:
The successful Finance Supevisor will have experience working in a similar role and therefore will be confident in pulling together financial accounts.
In addition you will have the following skills and experience:
* Excellent numeric skills
* Advanced Excel skills and good general IT skills
* Proven experience of being able to work to tight deadlines through having strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload
* Experience of using a government accounting finance system (SEAS is preferable)
* Strong communication skills including the ability to liaise with both internal and external contacts
