Prophet Modelling Actuary
I am looking for an Actuary to join an Insurance business based in the North West. This is a great opportunity for an individual with excellent knowledge and experience of providing actuarial and analytical services. You will play a key role in the reconciliations process between various valuation models.
Responsibilities;
- Undertake technical analysis using actuarial and analytical techniques eg work for bonus recommendations, experience analysis investigations, responses to customer service queries, periodic financial reporting exercises
- Use actuarial modelling systems, calculation systems, spreadsheets and experience analysis systems to assist with technical analyses
- Draft sections of actuarial reports
- Maintain the actuarial systems, packages and spreadsheets used in line with departmental governance
- Assist with the testing and implementation of any approved system changes
- Provide support to actuarial projects
Person specification;
- Understanding of the career path/qualifications and development needs associated with this role and a willingness to invest time into achieving the required qualifications
- Degree in Maths/Statistics or similar relevant subject
- Ability to manage own workload and own priorities
- Good verbal, written and listening communications skills
