Are you a System Validation Engineer who is looking for your next step in your career? I have fantastic opportunity for someone who specialises in the Automotive industry based in Essex, UK. No challenge is too difficult for our client. They are one of the leading international technology companies in engineering services.
The client has around 40 sites worldwide and with more than 3,000 dedicated and skilled staff, they aim to develop the future with their customers and aim to consistently be at the forefront of that development. They have more than 30 years experience and knowledge within their chosen industries including life science, telecommunications, energy and most importantly for this role, automotive.
They are currently looking for a Start-Stop System Validation Engineer on a contract basis to be based on one of their larger sites in Essex. The candidate must have an MSc/MEng or PHD in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent and must also have experience of Automotive control systems and engine calibration.
The Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Validation and sign-off of start-stop system and interactions with other subsystems
- Validation and sign-off of functional safety and dependability in vehicle and on HiL
- Debugging and troubleshooting of new SW and cal deliveries
- Tracking issues and developing fixes
- Support gPCSE SSFT process for control system related HW & SW req'ts.
- Support S/S system OBD, EOL & FCSD strategies.
- Support of GPDS gateway timing
They are ideally looking for a candidate who also has the following:

Experience of ATI Vision, DET, CANalyser, engineering tools

Experience of eFDVS, AIMs, G8D systems and tools

6-Sigma toolset (Robustness analysis, DFMEA, P-Diagrams )

Advanced engineering mindset

Excellent communication skills
