Role - Scrum Master
Duration - 9 months
Location - Edinburgh
Overview of the Programme
The role will involve guiding the agile scrum team through multiple sprint cycles and working closely with the project manager & product owner to track progress and ensure fortnightly showcases back to the business take place. The role will involve utilising a kanban to facilitate progress whilst also identifying and resolving barriers.
Role Accountabilities
A scrum master responsibilities include:
- Establish Scrum practices and rules and keeps Scrum process running
- Ensure the Scrum team is fully functional, empowered, self-organising, productive and focused on achieving sprint goals
- Ensure the Scrum process is followed, including effective daily scrum meetings, sprint reviews and planning meetings
- Coaches individuals within the team and fosters a feedback culture to ensure team learns from its experiences
- Detects hidden problems and conflict and strives to resolve
- Works with multiple stakeholder groups outside the Scrum team across Motor, Consumer Finance and Group to communicate approach, progress and to protect Scrum team from outside distraction and remove potential obstacles to progress.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills
