Description

Materials Controller/Buyer
This is a contract for between 7-10 months.
You will be responsible for the coordination of daily operations within the material handling team.
You will supervise goods in and make sure there is a timely flow of materials. Coordinate the replenishment of assembly lines through Kanban system, recording of stock through warehouse management system.
You will assist the materials handling team in order to maintain stock and bill of materials.
In addition this role will also be involved with the purchasing team/department; assisting with analysis and actioning of messages from the MRP system.
You will place and follow up on orders with suppliers accordingly.
