JOB TITLE: VALIDATION ENGINEER
Location: Cork, Ireland
IMMEDIATE START!
One of the largest state of the art manufacturing plants in Europe is seeking a validation engineers to join them in one of their key manufacturing hubs in Cork. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of experience and is being offered on the basis of a 12-month contract, with a competitive daily rate of €350 (£280). The ideal candidate will preferably be based in Ireland or be willing to pay interview travel expenses. The main purpose of the position is to create and conduct necessary procedures for the validation and qualification of equipment, processes and systems
The Validation Engineer is a member of the QA Validation team, playing a key role in the planning and execution of validation activities related to project. Provide support for the validation activities associated with equipment & processes ensuring that all compliance issues and requirements of Company Validation Policies and Procedures are addressed
ORGANISATIONAL INTERFACES:
All Disciplines within the Manufacturing Facility, Outside Suppliers and QA related Equipment Suppliers
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Conduct validation activities in compliance with US and EU regulations, GBSC procedures and EHS requirements.
-Ensuring conformance with current equipment and processes
-Determining the implications of validation relating to data integrity, product quality and patient safety
-Implementing control measures in order to reduce the occurrence and possible impact of failures
-Documenting evidence relating to qualification and validation exercises
-Communicating and obtaining input/acceptance of stated exercises by relevant departmental personnel.
-Periodic review activities and ensuring HSE is included in all quality change procedures
-Validating new technologies and contributing to validation procedures
-Responsible for reducing the environmental impact in all activities
-Conduct validation activities in compliance with US and EU regulations, GBSC procedures and EHS requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering/Science
Minimum of 2 years' experience in validation
Solid experience in Engineering, QA, Validation and ISO 13485
