A high profile multinational company in Cork is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Support Contractor to join a team of engineers for 6 months. This is an opportunity to up skill around your networking, virtualisation and storage skills. You will be reporting into the Infrastructure Manager where a fast moving and dynamic environment will definitely grow your skills substantially. Although this is a 6 month engagement initially there is scope for an extension beyond that point.The Job:
- Oversee escalated issues to successful closure
- Contribute to business continuity planning, project initiatives and strategic improvements
- Awareness and implementation experience of disaster recovery techniques
- Participate in LAN, WAN, backup, disaster recovery and other processes
Have You:
- Strong networking and virtualisation support and troubleshooting experience
- Experience working with Data Centres, virtualisation, backup and recovery technologies
- Experience working with 3rd party vendors
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
