Description

We are looking for a Coda Financials Administrator to ensure the effective running of the finance systems that support the finance users and their monthly accounting processes for a leading retail client.

The role will assist and support the users of the accounting systems and related financial processes in order to meet the changing needs of the Group.

You will assist with documentation of existing systems and processes, and manage the change control processes around the systems. This role will be for a minimum of 3 months, we require someone who is flexible to extend after this period if needed

Key Responsibilities

Provide finance systems technical and financial support to the Finance and Planning team as appropriate

Support and maintain new and existing financial systems so that they satisfy specific business requirements

Manage the existing interfaces of data into the Coda accounts system, ensuring all data is loaded and reconciled, troubleshooting instances of failure

Assist the Systems Accountant and Systems & Projects Manager to deliver any system changes required

Document systems, processes and procedures and provide Group wide training and support

Maintain communication and work with the Finance team to identify areas needing improvement and promote whatever change may be necessary for the business

Provided other support and completed projects as required outside of normal duties as required by the Finance Manager

What we're looking for

Required experience with CODA
Ideally experience with Business Objects and Cognos
Good working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Ability to handle high volumes of data to analyse and report on
Ability to adapt quickly to complex financial information and develop usable strategies from conceptual data
Degree or equivalent in relevant subject
Ideally ACA, CIMA or ACCA part-qualified
Prepared to go the extra mile and work as part of the team
Communicating at all levels and timely
Ability to work under pressure with focus
Proactive approach to solving problems and able to minimise repeated errors
Ability to foster strong working relationships within the team and with cross functional team members
Background in finance within retail and/or large international organisation.
Availability to start in April/May for a minimum of 3 months
