Proteus Europe is searching for a network analyst for a 2-3 Month contract role based in Kent.Our Client :-
Provides financial services, wealth management services and investment management for private clients, trusts, charities and corporates.
Your New role :-
The current network analyst is leaving so this will be to help the Infrastructure Manger to keep the networks systems going.
In House Skills to be learnt
- Knowledge of Servers / Software / Business units
- Understanding of WAN topology and key support contracts
- Site Recovery Manager (only Neil knows this)
- London Comms Room and Expo network
- Knowledge of Telephony solution and topology throughout the WAN
- Remote access solutions - Sonic Wall / RSA
- Sonic Wall Firewalls for Bloomberg routing and Wireless
- DNS maintenance - Certificates / Firewall rules
- MSL tape archives
- Email Signature Software
- Paper Cut Printer Software
- Avelo and Virtual Cabinet
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
- Active Directory, Structure and Security
- Exchange
- Windows Server
- Network Management
- VMware / ESXi and Dell hypervisors
- HP and Cisco Switches (VLANs / Subnets / Routing)
Desirable Skills :-
- Equallogic Arrays
- Firewalls
- IP Telephony (SIP/ISDN) - Avaya - Call Logging / Recording
- Sophos
- WSUS
