CDS Recruitment are working with our client who carry out work on Commercial Properties throughout the North East. They are looking to recruit a Time-Served, 17th Edition Electrician on an ongoing temporary basis. Educated to City & Guilds Electrical (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with 17th edition or BS7671 qualification you must have previous experience carrying out maintenance on Commercial Properties. The client would also like to see a City & Guilds 2391, 2394-5 Test and Inspection Certificate.
Responsible to the Electrical Foreman, your duties and responsibilities are listed below.
To carry out electrical work to drawings, specification and as instructed.
To record works carried out for record and financial purposes.
To carry out maintenance work as instructed.
To ensure full compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and all statutory obligations relevant to projects assigned.
Maintain personal protective equipment to prescribed standards.
Requirements:-
Experience on maintenance and contractual projects in industrial and commercial buildings
Able to remedy electrical problems and repairs in the commercial premises.
Able to follow electrical specifications and drawings prior to electrical installations.
Have a knowledge of health and safety in electrical works
Good communication skills
