SW London building company is looking for a multi trade carpenter with full refurbishment experience for sites in SW London and Surrey.We are a small but growing company and we take a lot of pride in our finished product so its very important that our work is done correctly and to a very high standard in order to keep our valued clients happy.The applicant must have:
- Sound knowledge of other trade procedures i.e. plumbing, electrical, plastering
- Must be well organised, well-motivated and on time
- A positive attitude to work and take pride in your work
- Good communicative English and customer manners
- Own tools and transport
- UTR & NI numbers
Decorating skills would be an advantage but not essential.Our sites are non-smoking.Starting rate £120 to £140 per day dependent on skills and experience.The role is temporary initially and may become permanent after a trial period.Please reply with a CV or an explanation of your skills and experience including where you're based.
The successful applicant will need to be experienced in the construction of extensions and refurbishments from set out to completion and be able to carry out the following tasks quickly and efficiently:
- Pour concrete foundations and floors
- Pitch a roof
- Form insulated ceilings
- Drylining with drywall adhesive to plumb and straight lines
- Hang doors and fit hardware
- Fit skirtings and architraves
- Make joinery units
- Fit Kitchens and bathrooms
- Tiling skills an advantage
