Income Advisor
My client, a leading company in Bury St Edmunds is looking for a temporary Income Advisor. The main responsibility of the role is to collect income on time and effectively. You'll need to profile your customers, gauge their personal circumstances and match a sustainable payment method. Identify and mitigate the risk of non payment.
This is a Temporary role until January 2017.
A high level of empathy is required, so a background in customer service may be advantageous.
Key responsibilities:

To take ownership and resolve enquiries and requests for service at first point of contact Incoming calls, outgoing calls, email, SMS, post and self service.

Ensure customers are aware of their responsibilities to make payment at all times

To administer IT systems and processes in line with Customer requests for service and business needs.

To be proactive in early arrears prevention through responding to low level arrear notifications.

Undertake Customer Profiling in order to maintain an accurate view of our customer and their personal circumstances in order to prevent arrears or to resolve in such a way that results in payment.

Understand reasons for individual customer arrears using different communication techniques to identify solutions for remedial action using a range of tools and techniques and effective sign posting.

Use customer data and effective communication in order to identify and resolve abilities to pay and enhance their financial inclusion.

To work as part of team sharing knowledge and demonstrating an awareness of others responsibilities and resources.

To undertake Customer Advisor duties at any base, for any team as required including Reception and Switchboard.
