Responsibilities
- Deliver the front end services layer of the next generation enterprise platform in a fully tested agile model. Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
- Engage as part of an agile fullstack development team to deliver an end to end consumer facing proposition.
- Collaborate with BA’s, Product Owners, Designers and third party development teams in person and remotely to deliver a resilient, scalable platform.
- Design and develop high volume, low latency applications for mission critical systems, delivering high availability and performance.
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
- Be a champion for innovative, agile, development practices.
Qualification
- 5+ years in Android native development
- Expert in Android Studio, Gradle, Jenkins, Git
- Frameworks: RxJava, Dagger 2, Retrofit
- Applications: Java 7 / Android SDK, REST client, App localisation/theming
- Excellent track record in delivering Android applications
- Experience of B2B and B2C environments
- Excellent collaborative team player with communication skills top match
- Adaptable and flexible to meet demands. You are relentless and passionate to get the job done.
- Proactive - you take responsibility and own the solution within a collaborative team environment.
