Senior Finance Assistant - Stirling - Contract - 6 months £120-£170 per day
Harvey Nash's client a public sector body is seeking an experienced finance professional for a 6 month contract.
You will be expected to provide a wide range of financial duties; your duties will include:
. Preparation and submission of returns and internal reconciliations in accordance to deadlines
. Assist in preparation of year end annual accounts
. Engage with external auditors
. Maintain and development of new fixed asset management system
. Preparation and analysis of management accounting information
. Stakeholder engagement
. Cash flow forecasting
.Preparation of monthly debtor report for senior management
Qualifications/Experience required:
. Qualified Accountant
. Knowledge of standard accounting practices
. Previous management accounting experience in large scale organisations, including month end accounting
.Previous experience of year end accounting
. Update knowledge of VAT legislation
. Credit control experience
. Previous experience of management of payment of invoices
. Budget management experience
. Excellent MS Office, including Office and Excel experience
