JOB DESCRIPTION
I am currently looking for an EMC Test Engineer on a contract basis with an Advanced Aerospace and Defence company based in Dorset.
They need someone to start ASAP but could wait for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to take on the following responsibilities. Direct experience in these fields is beneficial, and an aptitude towards these skills, relevant experience and a flexible and eager approach are essential.
- EMC testing as per Airbus derivative from DO160F on new Aircraft prototype A350 Electric Reverse Thrusters
- Radiated Emission, Radiated susceptibility, Conducted Emission and Conducted susceptibility
- Running tests, analysing, confirming failures for non-conformance, finding solutions for conformance and creating reports
- Compliance testing experience
- Aerospace and Defence Industry
You must have:
- A degree would be beneficial
- 3 years testing industry experience
- A can do' attitude and a good cultural fit
