*Contracts Manager - up to £490/day - 18 month contract - Wiltshire*

Security Clearance: Must already hold SC clearance.

We have an exciting opportunity to join one of our key defence clients in Wiltshire who are looking for a contracts manager to join their team. This role has overall responsibility for the initial on-boarding of FM partner and the contractual arrangements with the key facilities management contractors ensuring compliance with NEC3 process and obligations. The role has commercial management responsibility for commercial process and risk management across the DSTL Facilities Management service Intelligent Client Cell (ICC). The objective of this role is to ensure the effective operation and continuous improvement of the efficacy of the contract and to ensure Value for Money (VFM) is achieved.

Key tasks and deliverables:

*Ensure commercial best practise is followed in the management of the FM contract with our FM partner
*Responsible for advising the head of the ICC on all Commercial matters
*Responsible for effective commercial delivery of the FM contract delivered by our FM partner
*Contract management of all contracts delivering facilities management across the Estate delivered by our FM partner
*Ensuring the effective management and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on the contract
*Maintaining awareness and influence over all contracts which have a bearing on FM provision.
*Responsible for ensuring that an effective key supplier management, and efficient contract management regime is implemented that reduces the risk to DSTL of cost escalation and time delay.
*Commercially enforcing the contract
*Management of all Early Warning Notices and Compensation Events including negotiation, agreement and any dispute escalation in line with the contract
*Managing insurance risk and assisting team in insurance matters
*Dispute resolution
*Managing any NEC Compensation Events;
*Ensuring DSTL compliance with NEC3 process and obligations
*Responsible for optimising the processes associated with our FM partner;
*Responsible for ensuring that risk is transferred appropriately through the FM contract having due regard to an acceptable balance of cost, risk ownership and value for money.
*Responsible for ensuring contingency plans are in place, which mitigate supply chain risks.
*Managing the price list and all other contractual pricing mechanisms;
*Provide commercial input into the budgeting across the facilities management service and FM costs to the wider business;
*Commercial risk management and ensuring that actions are assigned to appropriate owners;
*Implementing commercial change management where required;
*Responsible for risk management and mitigation in relation to the contracts and ICF

Essential skills and experience:

*Expert knowledge of NEC3 contract management in an FM environment
*Working in a public sector organisation
*NEC Accreditation
*MCIPS (desirable)
