Inside Sales Representative-Initial 6 Month Contract-Peterborough-Global Engineering Company-£16/£20ph

Our Client, a Global Engineering company, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to be based in Peterborough on an initial 6 month contract.

Purpose and Scope:

Reporting to the Regional Manager for EAME Distribution Business, this is a unique opportunity for someone to join the dynamic and rapidly changing aftermarket environment.

This position will support the aggressive parts growth plans to 2018. The key purpose being to call a set portfolio of accounts to drive parts focus, awareness & promotion of campaigns, and feedback information to the business.

Job Duties/Objectives:

*Achieve required call rates
*Drive and sell promotions
*Push the regional parts incentive programme
*Drive awareness and focus with the distributors on deviation to growth plans and drive recovery action
*Look for marketing opportunities and work with the Account Manager to develop business proposals.
*Engage internal process partners (Parts Marketing, Pricing, Customer Services etc.)
*Ensure awareness of parts campaigns and full utilisation of the programmes
*Collect competitor data and input into the aftermarket team

Key Results/Metrics:
*Call rates against targets
*Quantity and quality of field data received
*Distributor levels of participation in marketing campaigns
*Parts Sales

Required Background/Experience: Prior sales or sales related process experience is required with a background of telesales. Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to drive positive relationships and challenge people to take action and provide relevant information.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
The candidate must possess and demonstrate the following attributes and capacities.
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Basic understanding of the distribution business and parts business
*Must keep commitments with sense of urgency
*Self Starter
*Analytical Skills and basic business Acumen
*Prior sales, including telesales, or sales related process experience is desirable.
