We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company to support their project in China.

Position Title: CMF Specialist
Position Type: Contract or Permanent
Start Date: August 2016
Duration: 12 months initial

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for CMF across flagship/premium handset categories and the implementation of CMF design strategy to mass manufacture; utilising up-to-date technologies; standardized practices & processes.
- The ideal candidate would have a clear understanding in the translation of CMF trends research to CMF templates (archetypes).
- Analysing CMF/industry-trends in relation to the client’s ID-strategy, product planning & marketing requirements. Provide CMF trends analysis reports and formulate a CMF design strategy for mobile phones while establishing design guidelines that improve consumers awareness appreciation of the client’s brand through CMF innovation and value of design.
- Conduct advanced research and oversee iterative development of CMF palettes while introducing new vendor-suppliers to the client through the broadening of their supplier resource pool.
- Raise the level of CMF team capabilities; provide professional mentoring to the studio team and supporting staff. Contribute to the development of the CMF platform construction.

Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Major in industrial design (bachelor degree/masters preferred), graduated from leading design institution; either domestic or overseas background preferred.
- 10+ years of CMF experience in consumer electronics or lifestyle industries with proven experience of premium/flagship products to market.
- As one of the core members, you will participate in the business analysis and need to be familiar with supporting business/industry clusters.
- International background is preferred, this individual should possess a strong impetus and passionate determination to both challenge and move things forward.
