Description

TechNET IT have been chosen as the partner for a large Digital Bank based in the North of England. Due to continued success and growth they are looking to recruit a Communications Manager to join their team.

Purpose of the Role

We are looking for an experienced Customer Communications Manager to manage the planning and delivery of the regulatory customer contact programme for Business Banking, Corporate and Retail Divisions.

You will be a Marketing Manager with significant experience in delivering below the line marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ideally within a Financial Services or other regulated environment. You will have with strong stakeholder management skills with excellent organisational skills.

You'll effectively engage with the Product team to understand requirements, engage with Regulatory teams to ensure compliance whilst effectively managing creative and print agencies and budget.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the planning and delivery of the below the line regulatory customer contact plan.
  • Lead the development of the quarterly/annual customer contact plans - work with stakeholders to ensure delivery plans are in line with regulatory/business requirements.
  • Manage the delivery of the contact plan - effectively manage internal stakeholders, external agencies, printers and mailing houses to bring together all aspects of a campaign to ensure delivery in line with agreed mailing calendar.
  • Ensure all communications are clear, fair and not misleading and approved by compliance and brand ahead of delivery.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimise and improve performance.
  • Manage budget control with actual vs budget spend monitored monthly.
  • Day to day management of external agencies/partners - ensuring adherence to SLA's and budgets.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Significant experience in delivering below the line marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including direct mail, email, SMS and outbound.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Senior stakeholder management experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven Microsoft Office and report writing skills (eg Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
  • Building & maintaining relationships with key internal & external suppliers
  • Experience of working within a regulated/financial services environment.

Technical Skills and Qualifications

Suitable Marketing professional qualification - eg Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or Institute of Direct Marketing (IDM)
