Role/Project Description:
The Operational Risk Business Analyst will be responsible for liaising and incorporating the operational risk aspects of our client's material risk identification as part of our client Groups FWST Program. The FWST Program is a global program delivering a business process change and a strategic IT solution for the various Stress Testing requirements from our client's main Regulators. The Focus of this position will be on Group wide operational risk identification and assessment.
Tasks:
- This role has a particular focus on operational risk identification and assessment, as part of the overall Risk identification process, our client has a mature operational risk process that will be utilized for the Risk Identification program.
- Liaising with key stakeholders to collect requirements, gather data and Reports for defining process, analyze the requirements and data for extraction of risks and materiality of such risks.
- The financial risk business analyst will also be able to interpret and understand and assess impact significance from risk data for the purposes of Risk Assessment.
- Qualitative Documentation on individual Risks, there impact, drivers, emerging or declining nature.
- Take responsibility for the documentation of the Processes and Procedures of the Risk Identification project to a very high standard suitable for regulatory submission.
- Complete functional specifications and other analysis documentation for risk identification and assessment project.
Essential Qualifications:
- 3 to 4 years of Operational Risk experience.
- Experience in operational risk identification and materiality assessment.
- Business Analyst experience in large Financial Services Projects.
- Excellent skills in producing clear concise documentation.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Fluent English language knowledge.
- Solid knowledge of MS Office.
Desirable:
- Professional Risk Qualification FRM /PMRIA
- University Degree in related field
