Our client, a growing UK based, retail banking organisation requires the services of a Commercial Manager for an initial 6 month contract in London with weekly travel to Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be working directly with the Head of Operations and wider commercial teams within a large Digital banking programme of work.
This exciting opportunity encompasses 2 specific core responsibilities:
1)Representation of the clients' Digital programme at a number of forums to define and present robust commercial benefits of related products and services.
2)Supplier relationship management - establishing and managing an effective framework to manage cost effective delivery and ensure benefits realisation
You will have experience of supporting business growth and change from a commercial management background.
Experience of working on digital projects or with digital products would be extremely beneficial, therefore in order to be successful, you MUST demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Retail banking, digital wallet programme/operational experience
* Ability to articulate commercial benefits in a compelling manner
* Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills
* Demonstrable experience representing business areas at key meetings, participating in planning, reviews, business updates and monitoring project milestones
* Proficient at engaging with 3rd party suppliers, building and maintaining relationships
