We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company, to join their project in China.

Position Title: ITO Solution Architect
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: July 2016
Duration: 12 months initially
Location: Shenzhen, China

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Data Center technical architecture management and support.
- Technical support for resolving major incidents.
- Review and assess major technical solutions.
- Design technical solutions including capacity monitoring; system maintenance solutions to improve operation effectiveness and efficiency.
- Design capacity management solutions and generate capacity plans.
- Serve as the functional and technical expert.
- Work with the internal departments to define technical requirements for Work Requests.
- Review and integrate all requirements for the infrastructure.
- Evaluate impact of change from a solutions point of view.

Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Over 10 years of IT experience.
- Expert in Data center infrastructure (UNIX, Wintel, Database, Storage, Backup and Network) operation, solutions and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of telecom industry.
- In-depth technical knowledge of Telecom Managed Services.
- Competent to review project deliverables to ensure its quality and completeness and that it is compliant with established project standards.
- Competent to analyze client’s needs and design solutions accordingly.
- Competent to develop infrastructure requirements based on the inputs gathered from a variety of source, including analysis results and feedback from the user community.
- Willing to travel extensively and globally.
- Fluent English (written and oral), Mandarin preferred.
