A leading global Wealth Management firm based in London is looking to hire a highly skilled and results-driven Product Manager (Capital Markets SME) to assist in facilitating the restructuring initiatives that they are presently undertaking.
As a Capital Markets Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing key activities for change initiatives within the business, supporting senior Capital Markets business stakeholders in the Front Office, and for creating process efficiencies across the product life cycle. You will also be responsible for managing business as usual (BAU) activities with the business stakeholders and technology.
Principal Capital Markets Product Manager accountabilities will include:
- Project Managing several initiatives and platforms that support the product simultaneously, while continuously communicating progress/results to management and key stakeholders
- Ensuring that business implications have been thought through in a logical, practical manner and providing technical support and guidance to relevant stakeholders
- Addressing challenges by coming up with practical solutions that strengthen core infrastructure
- Execution of strategic change initiatives spanning efficiency, regulatory and revenue by representing and delivering from a Capital Markets standpoint
- Driving efficiencies across the current model and facilitating changes that deliver a streamlined model, within both the Capital Markets function and the wider business
- Helping to overcome any potential resistance to change that may arise across the business through the use of exceptional interpersonal skills and a people-oriented focus
As the Capital Markets Product Manager, you will have:
Essential:
- Strong knowledge of Capital Markets as well as the propositions, products and services provided to clients within Wealth Management firms
- Proven track record of successful management and oversight of Capital Markets activities, as well as Software Development Lifecycle experience
- Thorough understanding of operational risk management principles and of key principles for new business origination
- Extensive experience in product and platform build-out, project management and change management
Additional:
- Excellent knowledge trade life cycle - across asset classes (single as well as multi-asset classes) as well as across regulatory landscapes
- Superb communication skills, and the ability to clearly articulate the requisite changes and potential consequences to senior stakeholders
- Experience of working in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment and ability to ensure that the planned change becomes thoroughly Embedded within the organisational culture
- A passion for excellence, a strong work ethic and the ability to effortlessly obtain "buy-in" from all those involved in/impacted by the initiatives
