Description
Currently seeking a Reporting & Controls Assistant with an accounting background in financial services to work on site with a retail bank through a large consultancy. The ideal candidate with also have Commercial Insight and Business Partnering experience. This will be part of a large migration project, lasting around 18 months.
Responsibilities;
- Co-ordinate the month end and provide commentaries and variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior actual in support of the bank's loans business.
- Support the preparation of appropriate briefings and analysis to ensure insightful and clear understanding on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
- Ability to use financial systems to identify, understand and articulate the key business drivers and indicators for Loans business.
- Ensure strong financial control framework in place replicating where possible best practice processes already in place via existing processes.
- Support and input to the Migration build of Loans finance function
- A key contact point with Central 'Reporting & Controls' team.
