Statutory Reporting Manager - Banking - Edinburgh
I am supporting a global consultancy in recruiting from a Statutory Reporting Manager to work on site with a leading banking client of theirs. The end client are at an exciting time in their development and growth. They are currently in the process of migrating away from existing platforms and over to a new providers platforms following a major divestment programme allowing the bank to become a stand alone business in the UK market.
In order to be considered for this role candidates must have the following skills/experience:
Essential Experience:
- Qualified Accountant with banking project experience
- Senior finance professional with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated stakeholder management capability.
- A deep understanding of statutory IFRS and/or FinRep reporting and accounting systems in a banking environment.
- An understanding of the control aspects of system and data migration.
Desirable Experience and Skills:
- Knowledge of Asset Encumbrance reporting
- Knowledge of SAP or GDRS
- Being able to speak Spanish to conversational level would be highly desirable.
- Data mapping expertise.
