Description

Our client, an Edinburgh based retail Banking client, require the services of a Confirmation & Settlements Manager for an interim 6 week post with possible extensions. This person will be required to manage the confirmations and settlement workflow, ensuring that deals are confirmed and settled accurately and promptly.

You will be required to interpret and implement legislation & regulatory requirements which affect Back Office and in order to be successful in this exciting interim post, you MUST be able to demonstrate the following experience and skills:

*Ability to review and approve the confirmation and settlement of daily deals and financial transactions within large financial services organisations
*Review and sign off of daily controls including the reconciliation of bank accounts, dealer limits and counter-party exposures.
*Review and approval of the daily calculation of margin collateral between the client and it's counter-parties.
*Experience of working with "Regis TR" Trade Repository for reporting of trades and valuations to our in line with EMIR regulations.
*Collation and preparation of quarterly Intra-day Liquidity Returns
*Interpreting and implementing legislation and regulation affecting Back Office, such as EMIR, Central Clearing, Netting and Intra-day liquidity.
*Liaising with other areas within Treasury and the wider bank such as Transaction Management, Financial Control, Risk, Product Control, Securitisation and Audit.
