Tasks and required knowledge:
The following tasks need to be performed by the contractor:
* Based on the specification provided by the agency task lead, install and configure VMware Horizon View on a network infrastructure already hosting virtualization with VMware vSphere and vCenter.
* Support deployment and configuration of a number of virtual machines mainly with Windows operating systems and Red Hat Linux.
* Document configured environments in relevant documents.
* Support the usage of the configured environments.
In order to perform the required tasks, a Level Element Manager Engineer is required with very good knowledge of VMWare ESX, vCenter, Horizon View; good knowledge of networking protocols, ports & topologies (TCP/IP configuration and troubleshooting, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS); good knowledge of zero client deployment; knowledge of Linux (preferable Red Hat Linux).
