Financial Controller
One of my leading financial services clients in Amsterdam is urgently seeking a Financial Controller for a long term contract paying excellent rates. If you like it, you will never have to leave.

Financial Controller will IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% of the following skills:
- Accurate worker
- Strong analytical skills;
- A pro-active attitude and ability to operate in a demanding and changing environment;
- Team player;
- Drive, commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm are essential;
- Good knowledge of IFRS and preferably regulatory requirements in the banking sector
- Big 4 and/or CPA experience is a pre;
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal;
- Persuasive and strong communicator;
- Affinity and experience with automated financial systems (GFRS)
The Financial Controller will perform the following responsibilities:
- setting requirements for new procedures, reports and data requests in the GFRS system towards the business;
- performing reviews, checks and reconciliations on data files and reports from countries;
- supporting and advising business unit finance teams in all aspects of financial accounting and regulatory reporting;
- Continuously working on process improvements, developing and improving finance IT tools, queries and reports;
- Coordinating bank-wide finance processes and having day-to-day contact with the business unites globally, making sure data and reports are in time, complete and accurate.
