Qualified Accountant (Revenue):
We are urgently seeking a contract Qualified Accountant (Revenue) for a very long-term government project in Banbury.
The Qualified Accountant (Revenue) must have senior experience in similar roles and will be responsible for the following:
- Applying the correct revenue accounting determinations to new healthcare projects set up in SAP
- Reviewing billing instalments in SAP equal the TCV for revenue recognition
- Reviewing acceptance certificates as the key control to commence revenue recognition on software installations
- Confirmation RRC's are approved before revenue recognition commences for deals over $2m
- Investigation of variances between expected v actual unbilled/deferred positions at each balance sheet date
- Perform month on month review of revenue for variances & investigate
- Defer support revenue missed by the CO module (ie invoiced, but support dates not yet started)
- Reconciliation of current unbilled/deferred income, TCV left to recognise and invoices yet to raise, nets down to zero at the end of the contract
- Review and sign off for RDF's in healthcare
