I am looking to hire a Senior Finance Business Partner for one of my Public Sector Client.

Job Summary

The Senior Finance Business Partner is a critical role providing financial support services. The post holder will help ensure the provider of market leading financial support services and supplier of choice for its customers. The role will be responsible for helping to develop an effective delivery strategy for the financial support services provided, ensuring effective use of financial resources and people, consistently delivering successful outcomes and helping to manage financial risk. The role is a financial manager who will support the operational delivery of financial support services to customers. The post will be responsible for the day to day line management of Finance Analyst's that deliver finance services to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production of Financial Information & Returns
  • Management of Financial Processes
  • Financial Systems
  • Help lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes and systems, including greater automation, eliminating duplication, consolidation and standardisation
  • Play a significant role in the finance development agenda ensuring the adoption of best practices and sharing of knowledge/skills
  • Help develop KPIs to monitor finance function and process performance
  • To act as authorised signatory in line with the scheme of delegation
  • Support financial governance processes, including contributing to a comprehensive suite of finance policies and procedures
  • Play a key role in the implementation of annual audit plans

Experience Required:

  • Significant experience of financial management and working at a senior level
  • CCAB qualified
  • A thorough knowledge all financial management processes and reporting requirements.
  • Advanced theoretical and practical financial knowledge in financial accounting, financial/other legislation and financial policies
