SOC Analyst - Brussels, Belgium - Freelance - Initial 4 month contract - €65 Euro/Hour
A freelance opportunity has been created in Brussels for a SOC Analyst - Tier 1.
You'll perform 1st level triage of alerts into issues or incidents. You'll perform initial assessments of the priority of the event and determine the potential risk and damage or appropriate routing of security.
You'll monitor security events received through alerts from SIEM (or other security tools).
You'll be responsible for maintaining documentation and provide initial investigation of security incidents.
You'll have advanced analysis and communication abilities, and mentor other members of the team.
You'll work on a rotating 24/7 shift pattern, including morning, day, night, weekend and public holidays.
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience working as a security analyst in a SOC
- Network knowledge and experience
- Strong logical and analytical skills, especially in the analysis of security events.
- Experience with Security Assessment tools is a significant advantage.
