Description
Our Edinburgh Public Sector client is looking for a Corporate Risk Manager to join the existing team on an initial 6 month contract. Reporting into the senior manager of the division, you will be ultiumately responsible for providing support and expertise to the executive team on Risk and Audit matters.
Key duties will include:
* Review and assess risks to the organisation
* Audit current risk states, strategies and highlight improvements
* Monitor the Audit action tracker
* Update the Corporate Risk Register working with the Executive Team and other staff across the business
* Work with risk owners and ensure actions and updates are provided
* Run and facilitate corporate Risk workshops
* Maintain risk registers and to ensure appropriate escalation routes are in place
* Support the Audit and Risk Committee in the preparation of papers and risk actions
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
* Experience in a corporate risk specialist, consultant or management role
* Experience in dealing with senior stakeholders
* Experienced in Risk Audits
Ideally you will be experienced in a variety of industries.
