Description

A leading Credit Card client requires a Campaign Manager on a contract basis.

Job Purpose
To develop, implement and manage high quality, cost effective marketing campaigns for UK Credit Cards
To translate the UK Credit Card business needs into leading edge campaigns, ensuring delivery of world-class campaign solutions
To build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
To ensure customer focus is at the heart of all campaign activity - challenging where appropriate

Main Accountabilities and approximate time split
Campaign Development and Management (70%)
Develop, manage and deliver campaigns according to the Communications Calendar, on time and to budget
Ensure delivered campaigns form industry best practice and meet the customer-centric needs of UK Credit Cards
Understand the commercial agenda and how campaigns contribute to it
Seek continual improvement in communication quality by ensuring campaigns are regularly reviewed and learnings implemented
Share best practice and campaign results with other team members
Ensure marketing communications are on product message and to brand values, and adhere to regulatory requirements
Maintain high levels of accuracy for work
Proactively identify and implement cost savings and improvements to creative and processes

Relationship and Stakeholder Management (15%)
Develop relationships with key colleagues and stakeholders across the nominated business and B Marketing to ensure customer focus and campaigns that meet business requirements
Work closely with the partnership agencies to develop their knowledge and understanding of customers and the business

Team working (15%)
Deliver effective management of risk, governance, compliance and control issues ensuring awareness of and adherence to individual responsibilities in these areas
Work with colleagues across Marketing to integrate and align communications plans and key messages
Ensure effective cost management and control of team budget

Knowledge and Expertise (relating to specialist knowledge and expertise required to undertake the role. May include knowledge of the Bank's products, services and policies)
Detailed knowledge and experience of direct marketing across multiple routes to market
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Proven stakeholder management expertise
A detailed knowledge of the nominated business, encompassing strategy, structure, products, markets and competitors
Team player
Good organisational skills
Attention to detail
Experience, qualifications and other requirements specific to the role
Proven experience (2-3 years) in developing and delivering world class marketing communications campaigns - particularly below the line (SP and DM)
Experience of channel marketing across multiple routes to market
Evidence of managing internal and external partnership agencies
