Risk Management and Business Continuity Management Officer (Regulation/Finance)
Field of activity:
The team is responsible for assessing and reporting all operational, financial and business risks of the Group.
Furthermore, the Business Continuity Management (BCM) function is established in the client Risk Management and guarantees preparedness across the Group.
Job Specification:
In the context of new regulations (CSD-R), the client is faced with a high number of requirements which are not all implemented yet.
Support is required for the Gap-Analysis, preparation of the authorisation and implementation of all necessary requirements in order re-achieve the licenses as (International) CSD.
This includes the following activities in the context of Risk and Business Continuity Management:
Performing a Gap-Analysis and identifying measures to meet all requirements
Prioritising the necessary activities and creation of a time schedule for the next two years
Organisation of the authorisation file by providing information for each requirement and collecting all relevant documents
Implementation of processes and creation/update of documents to fulfil the requirements
Next to others, the following gaps have already been identified:
Improve the existing process in the context of Project Risk and Outsourcing Risk
Further developing and rolling out of a Business Impact Analysis
Further developing procedures and processes related to critical service providers
Skills & Experience required:
3+ years of relevant experience in Risk and Business Continuity
Management, including knowledge of best practices, processes, tools, relevant standards and regulations
Knowledge of CSD-R and related Regulator Technical Standards
Experience in project management is a plus
Strong organizational and reporting skills
Excellent team skills, both as a leader and as a team player
Excellent communication skills, especially related to facilitation, documentation and reporting
Excellent English skills; German is an asset
Additional Details:
Location: Luxembourg
Basis: 5 days per week
Start date: immediate/ASAP in 2016
End date: the assignment is currently foreseen to until Q
