For our client in Amsterdam we're looking for a Financial Markets Specialist Support Officer
Job Description:
As a Financial Markets Specialist Support Officer you have the knowledge and experience in customer services and the financial industry to deliver services "first time right" to our clients. You will be expected to pro-actively address potential problems and take ownership of client questions.
You will interact regularly with Financial Markets Sales colleagues to ensure clients receive optimal operational support and care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Resolve client queries relating to financial markets products and services.
Asset classes and services covered include: FXMM, Interest Rate Derivatives, Fixed Income, Collateral Margining, Clearing and Regulatory Services, Client Account Maintenance, Claims Services
Execute payments, match trade confirmations, negotiate daily collateral margin amounts and resolve late or incorrect payments
Monitor the progress of client queries when these are passed onto second line support
Collaborate with FM Sales and internal and external stakeholders on client problems and needs
Implement new processes or services
Your Work Environment
You will work in the dynamic and international world of Financial Markets and will focus on Client Services Operations.
Although you will need to complete daily tasks individually, the team relies heavily on each other to ensure all problems and tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
Within the Center of Excellence you will also be working in close contact with the Brussels and Manila-based FMSS teams in order to ensure uniformity in our approach to servicing clients.

Personal Profile:
- 1-3 years' relevant working experience within the Financial Services industry generally or, preferably, in Financial/Capital Markets specifically
- Educational Background in Finance, Economics, or other technical trade
- Fluent in English (Level C2) and Dutch (one other European language would be a plus)
- Proven ability to participate in change activities on an operational, commercial, and IT level
- Proven affinity towards client services and support
- Knowledge of Financial Markets products, services, and regulatory environment (specific to the European region) is a plus
