CASS Oversight Consultant
City of London
£500 - £550 day rate
Our client a leading Financial Services organisation is looking for a CASS oversight analyst to join the team on an initial 6 month contract. The role will assist in providing first line oversight and support to all CASS related matters.
CASS Oversight responsibilities -
- Carrying out daily oversight of internal and external client money reconciliations.
- Carrying out monthly oversight of internal custody record checks and external reconciliations, including scrutinising ISEM attestations
- Ensure all regulatory CMAR returns and CASS firm classifications are delivered on time and accurately
- Production and development of CASS Management Information and for the relevant CASS Governance Committees and Boards
- Providing event drive due diligence and periodic reviews of bank and custodians, together with documenting the review of diversification
CASS Oversight skills -
- Ability to conduct research and provide conclusions in a rule based environment, with knowledge and understanding of the CASS rules and CMAR section of the SUP sourcebook desirable
- Previous experience of CASS processes within financial services.
- Previous experience of external audit processes
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills.
