Description
Roc Search's client based in Bristol is seeking an experienced Project Manager, to assist in the managing the implementation of product enhancements, New Product Introduction (NPI), bid preparation and execution, support and services contracts, You will be responsible for delivering all projects to the appropriate levels of time, cost and quality across a business that specialises in high integrity engineering and control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and co-ordinate the project teams within a Matrix managed business; ensuring that projects are delivered utilising appropriate skills and experience.
- Ensure that all project requirements, work packages and tasks are correctly interpreted, planned, resourced and delivered on time and to budget.
- Proactive challenge of engineering staff ensuring sound engineering judgement is being applied.
Key Skills
- Hands on experience delivering projects that utilise any of the following standards would be highly beneficial IEC61508, DO178, ISO26262,
- Project Management experience. Formal project management qualification such as Prince2 is desirable
- Knowledge of aerospace, simulation and training, or maritime systems is desirable .
- Competent user of both MSOffice products and MSProject is essential.
