Contract: 3 months initially
Rate: £160 per day (£22.53 Per hour)
Purpose of the job:
To act as Finance SME in the Tri Force Collaboration Programme Team, providing direct support to the enabling services work stream. To act as the Business Change lead for the transition to a single unified Financial Services function. In addition, the post holder will be required to support the other programme work-streams to develop financial data and investment appraisals to include in Business Case(s).
Main responsibilities:
- To support and facilitate the planning, development and implementation of required activities to deliver the required outputs for the Finance function in line with the Enabling Services Vision and Mission.
- To act as business change lead in the alignment of activities across functions in the three force Finance Departments to enable those activities to be carried out once in the same way.
- To act as business change lead in the development and definition of a single unified service specification to deliver a single finance product to the three forces
- To be key change agent in engaging, negotiating and consulting with key stakeholders to deliver the business change processes required to deliver a consistent finance service across the 3 forces.
- To assist the lead Finance Force to develop a programme budget in line with developing delivery plans and identified resource requirements.
- To assist the lead Finance Force in the monitoring of ongoing costs against the agreed programme budget.
- To liaise with work-stream programme leads to produce cost and savings profiles and develop investment appraisals to be included in the Financial Section of the Business Case(s).
- To assist the lead force for Finance in producing funding models to be included in Section 22 agreements that split the costs of the new service across the three forces.
