Our Client, a Life, Pensions and Investment company are looking for a qualified or nearly qualified actuary, with a good understanding of investment business, and experience of asset classes and data, to work within its Investment Strategy and Execution team based in Edinburgh.
Overview of Team and Role.
The Qualified or nearly qualified Actuary will be expected to provide expert views on capital, investment and risk solutions.
You will be collaborating with other actuaries to develop, enhance and implement optimisation strategies for their insurance customers.
It is essential that you have strong analytical and very good knowledge of asset classes and data in order to understand and breakdown complex problems.
Have the ability to present the strategic options you have extracted to stakeholders, so therefore good communicational skills and confidence to challenge and influence debates when needed.
