Description
Production/Planner - Our customer, a rapidly growing Aerospace Client is looking to add a motivated Production Planner to it's freelance team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Production Manager, Purchasing, Engineering and Production-level associates to create, implement and maintain a comprehensive work schedule encompassing all facets of manufacturing from engineering to machine work centers to customer prove out.
Duties include:
Working closely with the Production Manager ensuring all time lines related to the manufacturing and supply chain are on schedule.
Work with Production Manager to redirect projects as needed.
Monitor relevant labor, parts and machine capacity data with a goal of preventing shortages and bottlenecks.
Work closely with purchasing to ensure the timely delivery of necessary/mission critical parts and supplies.
In put (in timely manner) all necessary data regarding the status of assigned projects into the system.
Document, manage and resolve any open issues which might prevent a project from being completed on time and on budget.
Key Skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of the company; including frequent interaction with machine shop, assembly and other support personnel.
Strong organizational skills; must be a quick thinking who is able to prioritize and complete tasks as assigned.
Be able and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience with Infor SyteLine is essential
