Operations Officer - Middle Office Analyst - Electronic Trading - FIX Protocol
Operations Officer/Middle Office Analyst required to join a leading inter-dealer broker on a contract basis. This role is based in the heart of the City and pays £145 per day.
You will be part of the operations team responsible for monitoring day to day market operations of their electronic trading platform which is used by traders and brokers throughout the market.
Reporting directly to the Electronic Operations Manager, you will be accountable for providing market support to Front Office/sales teams, overseeing trades and the input of data, as well as helping with any client onboarding and data set up. My client uses FIX protocol for their API support to day-day use of FIX will also be important.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience within an Ops/Trade Support position within Financial Markets (preferably broking/trading on electronic platforms)
- Capable of market monitoring and support
- Experience providing support with client onboarding and data set up
- Experience using FIX
- Knowledge of Derivatives, bonds, FX, OTC products would be highly desirable
- Must have great communication and relationship skills, capable of working in a fast paced, demanding Front Office environment.
