A great opportunity has arisen for a GDPR Project Manager to join a Global Financial Services firm based in London. This is an excellent chance for a Project Manager with a strong Data Protection or Data Privacy background to join a large project and be at the forefront of change within the bank.
About the GDPR Project Manager role:
The GDPR Project Manager will join the Investment Analytics team based in London.
Some of the core responsibilities include:
- Provide advice and counsel on the impacts of privacy laws on Business Units activities across the EMEA region
- Maintain and update an inventory of regulatory requirements applicable to the firm and individual business units
- Maintain corporate, regional and country level privacy policies as needed
- Create and update centralised corporate, regional and country level training as necessary
- Administer and participate in the execution of escalation procedures for data privacy breaches including the determination of notifications to regulators and clients
- Provide review and comments on contractual language related to privacy laws for Business Units
- Works with Privacy team in UK on EMEA projects related to Privacy regulatory matters
- Review and provide input into Cross Border data transfer initiatives
- Assist in the execution of EU Model Contract Clauses
- Work with country lead designated privacy officers to co-ordinate responses on EMEA projects/initiatives
- Providing guidance and support to the country lead designated privacy officer
Key skill set:
- Candidates need to have strong Data Privacy knowledge and experience
- Good GDPR Knowledge
- Strong project management experience across complex Matrix environment
- Ability to understand large and complex financial services organisation
- Expert in privacy/data regulations and how these would affect various workstreams
