Description
We are looking for a Senior Business and IT Consultant with Business Continuity or Information Security Lead Implementer/Auditor certification to join our team working with an EU agency in the historic city of Strasbourg, seat of the European Parliament and home to many prestigious EU agencies.
Working under our contract with eu-LISA, you will help our client accomplish their mission of supporting all the EU member states for a safer Europe through technology.
Tasks will include:
- Provide consultancy and support on planning, organising, monitoring and assessing the implementation of security and business continuity orientated projects;
- Provide expertise and support on performing specific tests for business continuity and security plans and policies of large-scale IT systems;
- Provide consultancy in drafting specific scenarios, incidents and injections for the tests and exercise projects used in testing the security and business continuity plans and policies;
- Provide support in customising the software platform used to perform tests and exercise projects for large-scale IT systems;
- Implement the follow-up of the corrective and improvement actions;
- Performing any other activity related to the implementation of exercise projects.
We are searching for candidates with the following profile:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant education (master or equivalent) after the secondary school;
- At least 9 years of experience in ICT, including 6 years in consultancy among which 3 years in relevant professional domains;
- Advanced knowledge of Business continuity management processes (including Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessment, Business Continuity Planning, Testing, Exercising);
- Advanced knowledge of disaster recovery planning techniques and technologies;
- Advanced knowledge of Information Security and Project management;
- Certified as Business Continuity and/or Information Security Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor (ISO 22301, ISO 27001, CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc.);
- An advantage is to be certified as project manager (eg: PRINCE2 Practitioner, etc.);
- Eligible to obtain the EU security clearance.
The position is offered as a freelance contract, initially until the end of 2017, with a high probability of further extension. Candidate should be able to start ASAP.
