Finance Assistant

6 Month Temporary Contract

Finance Assistant required by Technology Company based in Maidenhead.

Reporting to the Management Accountant this Maternity Cover Finance Assistant role is part of the finance and admin team working closely alongside the Finance Director, Management Accountant and Administration Assistant. Day to day liaison with the sales team and technical team is required, as is regular liaison via telephone with suppliers and customers.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Processing purchase orders on Sage
  • Allocation of received payments on Sage
  • Process and payment of weekly expenses
  • Credit control
  • Checking and signing off of orders and jobs
  • Answering phones and transferring calls accordingly
  • Cross functional roles with team members to include:
  • Booking in deliveries and arranging testing/configuration of hardware
  • Arranging shipments of goods within the UK and worldwide
  • Signing off and inputting purchase invoices
  • Ad hoc finance duties to cover Management Accountant as required
  • Ad hoc roles as directed by the Management Accountant and Finance Director
