Description
A FTSE 100 media business is looking for an Interim Group Financial Accountant to support the financial reporting team and ensure high quality data for reporting.
The role offers exposure to PLC reporting, to work in a highly driven team, and partner with senior stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Production and review of the Annual and Half Year report.
- Responsibility for reviewing technical accounting developments under IFRS and ensure these are Embedded into management and statutory reporting.
- Provide technical accounting and IFRS advice to business Divisions.
- Ad-hoc projects to support acquisitions and disposals.
Personal and Professional competencies:
- Qualified accountant. Preference for ACA but will consider applications with the ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
- Exposure to UK PLC reporting, including strong knowledge of IFRS and Consolidation.
- Experience of working for a blue chip organisation.
- Must be personable, good at building relationships and dealing with a wide set of stakeholders.
