Job description
The Information Systems of the organization is going though considerable change. The current application landscape will be cleaned up and new IT systems and the underlying processes are to be replaced, modified or improved. The OPP is engaged in the renovation of information for the operational process, which allows a robust information and phasing out of the 'old' information.
They are working with Agile/SCRUM (and waterfall where necessary). We work in a dynamic environment with many new elements, meaning a flexible, inquisitive and go-getter attitude are essential personal characteristics.
The OPP software is complex and the coming period will be expanded (strong). Unlocking external systems (other systems and chain parties) always goes through the Oracle Service Bus. The Server Side engineer designs and implements solutions in this field and is helping to build the J2EE (web) applications.
Responsibilities
- The Server Side engineer designs and implements solutions in the Oracle Service Bus and J2EE (web) applications.
Tasks
- Designing and implementing solutions for unlocking external systems and chain partners through the Oracle Service Bus and developing J2EE (web) applications.
Job requirements
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience gained as J2EE engineer in the past 5 years
- At least one completed and recognized bachelor degree
- Demonstrable knowledge of Weblogic
- Demonstrable knowledge of Jenkins, Apache Maven, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
- Demonstrable knowledge of JavaScript
- Demonstrated acquired (work) experience of Agile works and/or develop test driven development and/or modelling
- Demonstrated acquired (work) experience of the Police Organization a plus (or government or large enterprise)
- Demonstrable knowledge of AngularJS and Karma
- Demonstrable knowledge of Oracle Service Bus
