Infrastructure Technical Specialist

Project: Working for a major consultancy firm onsite with a leading energy client for a major project - 20 systems are to be designed and implemented
Role: A mixture of technical design and installation management. The successful candidate will be quite "hands on" when it comes to implementations. Initially the successful candidate will be designing for close 100% of their time. Over time the time spent designing will fall to perhaps 30%, as the focus turns to implementation.
Most important technologies - You need to be strong in Oracle WebLogic as well as a basic knowledge of the networking and virtualisation technologies (ideally vmware) is required.
The successful candidate can have worked in any industry and ideally have worked for consulting company at some stage, although this is not essential.
