Our client, a global bank, is looking to hire a Capacity Analyst within Infrastructure Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a team that intends to revolutionise IT infrastructure within the bank specifically and within the banking industry.
Role purpose
- This role is responsible for the monitoring, analysis and management of capacity in both the physical and cloud spaces within the Foundation portfolio.
- Implement governance around the capacity analysis activity as well as providing the required controls.
- Ensure that additional capacity requirements are identified efficiently and accurately against forecasted growth ensuring that the business is not affected.
- Take ownership of the required reporting into various stakeholders including the forecasted calculations and the effects they will bring.
- The ability to implement strong ITIL methodologies across a large portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Creation of a capacity database to hold, track and report on capacity usage data.
- Support delivery teams across multiple geographic locations and enable Agile delivery.
- Liaise with multiple technical and non-technical work streams on major business change projects and small change programmes to and within agreed Governance standards and methodologies.
- Align to standard Design and Data led LEAN and Agile delivery methods
- Identifying and escalating issues and risks in a timely manner to the portfolio lead so that project risk can be mitigated with minimal impact.
Contract role based in Radbroke, Greater Manchester.
