UNIX/Linux Administrator: AIX, Red Hat Enterprise, Perl, Bash
My client, a world renowned global organisation based in Prague is seeking a Unix/Linux Administrator who has particular skills in AIX and Red Hat Linux flavors. the successful candidate will have strong Scripting automation skills (Perl, ksh and bash) as well as strong Unix and Linux Performance and Capacity Management experience.
As part of the technical GIS Hosting Unix/Linux Services, this role is responsible for:
* Responsible for Performance and Capacity Management of Unix and Linux Systems in scope of the project
* Provide System Architecture support to company Business IT Application teams
* Provide Level 3 support for Unix/Linux related issues where escalated
* Assist in Level 1-3 support responsibilities and help train lower level administrators
* Improve, track progress, and make recommendations on Infrastructure Improvements
* Ensure Unix/Linux inventory levels available to meet forecasted demand.
